From what I've been able to piece together, YRD79 started up in early 2020 and only managed to run a handful of shows before COVID shut everything down. The promotion stayed dormant until 2022, but the first show back drew so poorly that YRD79 disappeared almost immediately afterward. There's a blog post in 2023 announcing a date, but it doesn't appear anything ever came of it. I can't find any records from then until summer 2025 when the group started promoting regularly.

From what I've been able to piece together, YRD79 started up sometime toward the end of 2018 and was actually starting to get a little attention around the time of its first anniversary. Then 2020 happened and, like a lot of small promotions, YRD79 basically disappeared. There were a couple of attempts to get things going again in 2023, although I've heard a few different stories about why those didn't work out. What I do know is that Darkness Tigre took over the day-to-day running of YRD79 sometime in 2025, and the promotion has been running regularly again ever since.

I would say I want this section to be the definitive resource on the web for information pertaining to YRD79, but it's looking like it is the only one.
